Here you can find all of my in-class productions from my time at Salisbury University in reverse-order. I hope to have a replay and directing reel from my Sport Network job up soon!

Here is a link to my most recent Sports Network Game, i've been told by many and agree that this is one of my best broadcasts I directed in the fours years I was at SU.

Title: Jammed Pack Documentary

Role: Producer, Editor, Co-Director

Project: We were tasked with making a 30 minute long

documentary on a topic of our choosing. We landed

on the issue of overcrowded animal shelters.

Takeways: I learned a lot about the production processes

of documentary production and how difficult it can be to

handle the logistics of traveling to shoot locations.

Title: Kris and Carter

Role: Director, Producer, Camera Op

Project: Use a snippet of a provided script with no context to show your interpretation.

Takeways: Interpreting a script with no other context was a very interesting assignment for me. I enjoyed having the creative freedom to shoot and stage all aspects of this short film.

Title: Narration

Role: Writer, Producer

Project: Create a 5+ minute narrative piece.

Takeways: I got my first taste of writing a fiction piece and really enjoyed! I learned how to acquire talent and schedule shooting days which I sitll use in projects to this day.

Title: The Stage Manager

Role: Director, Producer, Camera Op, Audio Tech

Project: Perform a day in the life like documentary, interviewing the subject to gain an understanding of their role.

Takeways: I was able to learn how to shoot on a site not entirely of my choosing. I followed Andrea Sicoli around while she was actively in technical rehearsal for the stage show "The Seagull".

Title: The Koalanapping

Role: Director, Producer, Camera Op, Writer

Project: Produce a silent short film (between 1-3 mins) while shooting in order of events.

Takeways: My first non-studio project, the intent from the Professor was for us to mimic how early-film would be shot (in order) and if we messed up we were supposed to restart from the begining (which I did!). This was my first dable in storying telling and how to portray my thoughts onto the screen. I learned that it is not easy to shoot in non-studio space!

Title: Sam & Riley

Roles:  Director

Project: Create a live-to-tape drama with a provided script.

Takeways: I was able to hone in my directing skill as this was my second project. I enjoyed working with a set and figuring out what camera shots were needed and that we needed to look ahead at where we were going with camera angles.

Title: Three Quizzes Show

Roles: Director, Producer
Project: Create a live-to-tape show.

Takeways: This was my first project at Salisbury University. I learned what the role of director and producer entail and fell in love. I enjoyed booking telent and studio space to shoot this show!
